Lent Day 41

Good morning, 

Our Scripture readings are Mark 15:34 and Isaiah 53 for today. 

Jesus experienced it all! Rejection. Loneliness. Abandonment. Suffering. Pain. As the Messiah, God's Son, only he could accomplish the work of restoration for all who believe and walk in His steps. 

Though you may feel completely alone, you are not forsaken! Jesus' story didn't end with his death on the cross, but was continued with the empty tomb! When we walk in His steps, we are never alone. 

How might you help someone who feels abandoned and alone? 

I have come to enjoy making home visits with people who, due to health or age, are not able to get out as they once did. The impact it has on people makes my spirit soar! Just being present, listening, and letting someone know you care is all they need to be uplifted and know they are not all alone.
