Lent Day 20

Good morning!

Our Scripture readings today are 2 Corinthians 4:7 and 1 Corinthians 1:26-31.

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians that we are called. As someone who is called, you must empty yourself of this world to become a vessel that can be filled with God's treasure. The look and design of the vessel may not be inlaid with gold, but God's treasure [His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control] is priceless. We are like the vessels of antiquity - clay jars, made of the earth, yet filled with priceless treasure.

As you walk in His steps, let God's treasure pour out of you, blessing those you encounter along the way!

How and with whom can you share the Good News you treasure?

I pray that my time in ministry with you is a sharing and witnessing of God's treasure that fills my heart! I pray that sharing and witnessing fills you to the brim and empowers you to pour out your treasure on those in your life and we create a tidal wave of treasure that rolls across our community and beyond!

Blessings,

Pastor Jesse
