Lent Day 3
Good Afternoon!
Today, our daily devotional asks us to read Matthew 1:21-23 and Ecclesiastes 3:9-15 to deliver us a powerful message. God has stepped into the world to continue the search for each of our hearts. We must recognize that no matter what we have done or left undone, God's love for us has never faltered and will never falter. God continues to find us wherever we may be in our spiritual journey.
We are asked: In what way did God find you?
God has found me many times and in many ways in my life. God first found me with a girl who told me that if I wanted to date her, then I would go to church with her and her family. God found me in many mentors; some with wisdom and reflection; some with directness; all with love and encouragement. God found me within myself, calling me from where I was to a new place that I could only reach if I said yes and took the first step in a new leg of my spiritual journey. I've come to a place in my spiritual life that I get excited and look forward to the next time God will find me.
I pray that God finds you every moment of every day as you walk 'In His Steps' this season of Lent and beyond.
Blessings,
Pastor Jesse
