Lent Day 26

Good morning!

Today, our Scripture readings are Philippians 2:4 and Matthew 22:34-40.

The Greatest Commandment! Love God. Love others. Deny yourself to serve others with the love of God. Jesus took this so seriously that he even went to the cross, with all of its pain and suffering, for each of us. When we walk in His steps, we put the well-being of others before our own. 

What generous act might you do today?

I'm not sure for who or what generous act I might do today, but it is important to be intentional. Being prepared to act when walking in His steps is important and one of the only ways to effectively serve "the last of these".
