Youth Ministries

Here at Emmanuel, we prioritize the spiritual and mental health of every youth. Teaching Biblical guidance, spiritual growth, and real-life skills to excel in an anxious world. We know it can be hard for you and your family to find time for faith, so we are constantly creating new fellowship opportunities for your youth to fellowship. Emmanuel Youth Ministry is here to walk along with your students, 6th-12th grade. We provide fellowship and ministry opportunities for students to ask questions, make connections, and be themselves.

  • In Sunday School, we take the passage shared in the morning worship service and break it down using theological reflection and the Wesleyan Quadrilateral. We help the youth learn to read scripture in a way that is relevant to their lives and challenge them to ask, “What does this verse mean for me?” The first 30 minutes is a discussion on the topic, and the last 20 minutes is open game time in our Youth Space.

  • The Jr. High youth group is open to all students between 6th through 8th grade. We meet in the Youth Space on Sundays from 5-7 PM. Each week, we play games, study a new book of the Bible, and have a weekly lesson. At 6:30 PM, we end our small group time by sharing a meal provided by members of the congregation.

  • All students in 9th-12th grade are invited to gather in the Youth Space on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM. The first hour is all fun and fellowship in our Youth Space. At 7:30 PM, we start our weekly lesson as well as a more in-depth conversation on what teens are experiencing or struggling with. We encourage the teens to share their struggles and find Biblical answers and guidance to address what they are going through.

  • All Emmanuel family and friends are welcome to come to the Youth Space on Monday evenings to enjoy watching the game and spending time together! Bring your friends - snacks provided!

  • When the weather is colder, we have a weekly open gym. Basketball courts are set up and ready with plenty of basketballs on hand, and indoor soccer goals and balls are available. These open gyms are open to the public at no cost. A free-will offering can be made to help maintain the facility.
