On Sunday, during both worship hours, kids age 4 years – 2nd grade will leave the sanctuary, after they have been excused, to go to the Kidz Chapel for a lesson and activities that will reinforce Pastor Jim’s sermon. Any questions, please email Annette Brown, Children’s Ministry Director at email@example.com.
The kids in Children’s Ministry Christian Formation hour at 9:55 will be learning that Jesus showed His love for us at Easter and beyond! Our memory verse will be: God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.” John 3:16
For children age 0 – 3 years, the Nursery is open during all services and the volunteers are provided with a lesson and craft/activity for the children that reinforce God’s love for each one of us.
Here at Emmanuel, we know a lot is going on in the life of your family: practices, games, rehearsals, performances, tests, projects, family time, jobs, volunteer work, dinners, and so much more. We know that it can be hard for you and your family to find time for faith, but Emmanuel Youth Ministry is here to walk along with your student, 6th-12th grade, as they start to discover, grow, and take responsibility for their faith. Our goal is to provide a safe space for students to ask questions, make connections, and be themselves.
We have a Youth Group every Sunday from 3:03-5:00 pm. We spend some time playing games, discussing faith and scripture, and if you are willing, have some fun. We are meeting at the parsonage across the parking lot from the church.
Christian Formation Hour
Between our worship services on Sunday, our church spends an hour in groups to talk and learn on a more relational level. From 9:50-10:50, 6th through 12th-grade students will be in the Family Life Center where we will be having some breakfast, playing a game or two, and having time to talk about the questions that are on the student’s minds.
