- Third Phase Christian-Betty Violette & Ruthie Thalman-Noblesville
This Christian Center is located on the south side of Noblesville in a big, white house up on the hill on the east side of Allisonville Road. It has 33 rooms and 10 acres and houses a food pantry, a second hand store, an emergency shelter, as well as a home and new start for destitute, hurting and hungry women (18 years +, pregnant, from the judge or jail, those ‘starting over’) and children. http://www.thirdphase.org/Facilities_and_Programs.htm

o Brightwood The Center serves the Martindale-Brightwood community and other eastside Indpls.neighborhoods. Their programs focus on children, youth, women & senior adults. They also have a food pantry and clothing store. 546-8200 2410 N. Station Str., Indpls.
o Fletcher Place has a thrift store (free), a food pantry and a preschool. Fletcher Place is for low income and provide immediate needs for food and clothing in addition to long term solutions. 636-3466 east of Fountain Square at 1637 E. Prospect Str., Indianapolis www.fletcherplacecc.org.

Many of the men & women , residents, are actively engaged in rebuilding their lives from substance abuse/addiction, some parolees; others visually impaired; many have suffered from mental illness.

- Habitat for Humanity-Hamilton County
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization. Homeowner families are chosen according to their need; their ability to repay the no-profit, no-interest mortgage; and their willingness to work in partnership with Habitat. www.habitat.org
- Garth and Becca Cartlage (OMS) Greenwood
They are new to the field and currently serving in the International Office in Greenwood. Garth is retired from the Indpls.. Fire Dept.
- Lori McFall (OMS) Greenwood
Lori is married to Cris; they both were missionaries to Dublin, Ireland. Now, Lori is the Children’s Program Coordinator of OMS where she edits and publishes the quarterly Missions to the Max newsletter for children. They have two children, Andrea and Ben.
- EUMC Preschool Bibles
Emmanuel presents those students ‘graduating’ (from preschool) with a Children’s Bible.
- Angel Tree-Hamilton and surrounding counties
Christmas gifts are presented as being from the mom or dad in prison—assuring the children that they haven’t been forgotten! The gifts are bought by people from Emmanuel. www.pfm.org
- Hamilton County Sheriff Chaplaincy-Noblesville
These funds help provide a chaplain, as well as Bibles (Breaking Free) for the prisoners.. A Sunday worship service is also presented at the jail weekly.

Henderson Settlement provides child care; educational and developmental programs; agricultural and economic development; basic needs and housing assistance; and recreation in an isolated, impoverished Appalachian community. http://www.vaumc.org
Henderson Settlement trip-A team from Emmanuel goes to serve in various capacities to help out as needed (cook, cut Campbell’s labels, carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Red Bird Mission-Beverly, KY-General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church
This is another multi-ministry mission in lower socio-economic areas of the Appalachian mountains. www.rbmission.org
- ‘Give Kids the World’ Pillowcase Ministry
Give Kids the World in Kissimmee, Florida has a village for children with terminal illnesses and their families where they can have their dreams come true for a free six day trip to sites around central Florida. Many people from Emmanuel work one Saturday a month at the church making these colorful pillowcases. Many people also work at home on these ‘gifts of love’. www.gktw.org

- Kevin and Becky Zirkle (WGM)-Japan
He teaches at Immanuel Bible Training College, preaches in Immanuel churches, and leads weekly Bible studies on university campuses. Becky works in the library at Christian Academy in Japan, a local school for missionary kids. Their two children are Mary and Joel.
- Scott and Cathren Cougill (Youth for Christ International) Chaing Mai, Thailand
Scott and Cat lived in our Mission House in 2004-2005. Scott is the Youth for Christ International Asia Pacific Area Director. Their children are Faith, Tim, Matthew and Paul. www.yfcasiapacific.org
- Brian and Christie Kessler (OMS)-Rybinsk, Russia
The Kesslers coordinate the ECC Ministries. ECC stands for Every Creature Crusade which organizes and sends out evangelical teams. Their children are Amber and Dustin. (Every Community for Christ)
- Doug and Linda Zillweger (OMS) Moscow, Russia
They serve as Russian Team Shepherd and Coordinators for OMS.

- Rod and Jan Dormer (OMS) Indonesia
The Dormers are leading the Charis National Academy English Camp, as well as serving as liaison between the pastors and seminary. Their daughters are Danna and Jenna. www.dormer.onestop.net
- Bill Meyer - South Korea
Bill Meyer is Director of Shalom House Christian Servicemen's Center in South Korea, 9 miles from the demilitarized Zone. This retreat gives members of the military and their families a place to have a fellowship time and help with family problems. As director, Bill facilitates the Shalom House's many facets of ministry, which include Christian counseling services, evangelism, classes in Bible studies and English, coordination and logistical support for volunteer work teams, and scheduling pastors and chaplains to serve in Shalom House ministries. Attendance has more than doubled since Bill became the director of Shalom House in 1998.

- Ken and Debbie Vance (South Indiana U.M. Conference)-Zambia, Congo
Ken serves as director of the Likasi Pastor's School in Ndola, Zambia, teaching at the Kafakumba Pastor's School, and serving as pastor of the Ndola Town Center United Methodist Church. Debbie serves at the Likasi Women’s School. Their children are Stacie and Joshua.
- Lowell and Claudia Wertz (Joy in the Harvest) Kigoma, Tanzania
Since 1993 they have served the Lord in Tanzania with Joy in the Harvest, a Christian mission organization they helped to establish. Claudia has many years experience working with African women and running a guest house facility. Their children are Kimberly and Luke. www.joyintheharvest.com
- Robyn Moore (WGM) Bomet, Kenya
Robyn has served at Tenwek Hospital, one of the largest Protestant mission hospitals in Kenya, for more than 20 years. Currently, she is living with her parents and sister in Berne, IN, while studying in a distance learning program to become a pediatric nurse practitioner through Vanderbilt Univ.

- Operation Classroom - Ganta, Liberia (Kay and Lamar Ziegler are our Emmanuel contacts)
Operation Classroom is a ministry of the United Methodist Church. It partners with selected schools and health care facilities in Sierra Leone and Liberia. They seek to provide a first-rate educational system in United Methodist Schools, develop a viable vocational program in the schools, train pastors, principals, and teachers in a basic understanding of counseling, and upgrade medical programs and facilities at Kissy Hospital, Sierra Leone, and Ganta Hospital, Liberia (Operation Doctor). http://www.gbgm-umc.org/operationclassroom/. - Kay and Lamar Ziegler (OMS) Brazil
Kay and Lamar are short-term Missionaries from Emmanuel to Brazil for three months in the winter to help with English camp and building/remodeling.
- Jim and Mary Newman (WGM) Trinidad, Bolivia
Jim and Mary Newman lived in our Mission House in 2001-2003 and in 2006-2007. Jim is the chief mechanic for a Cessna 206 airplane (Wings of Peace), which is used to transport missionaries, seminary students, evangelists, pastors, and work teams to remote jungle areas. Mary serves as a community health nurse. Their children are Jordan, Catherine and Danielle.
- Kurt and Cynthia Zimmerman (WGM) Santa Cruz, Bolivia
Kurt and Cynthia Zimmerman lived in our Mission House in 2004-2005. They are both teachers at Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center and work at Cristo Viene Church (WGM national church) in music, youth, and children's ministries. Their children are David, Tim, Jennifer, Lucas and Joshua.
- Elizabeth (Liz) Morriss (WGM) Santa Cruz, Bolivia
Liz teaches at the Santa Cruz Learning Center (with the Zimmerman family). Some may know Liz through her working at Camp Cherith, MI. Liz is currently studying language to better equip her for the mission field.
- David and Conce Roof (OMS) Brazil
David & Conce Roof have been involved with the Brazil field since March of 2000. They’ve served in various capacities including Camp directors and Church planters.. Although enjoying all aspects of ministry the apple of their eye has been working with the Jardim Veneza church in Londrina which they helped begin They look forward to using the experience gained to expand the church planting work into new regions of Brazil.
- Tom and Susan Stiles (OMS) Ecuador
Tom and Susan Stiles returned to Ecuador in the fall of 2006 where they had previously served several years. Tom is the new Ecuador Field Leader for OMS. Tom's position is to coordinate all OMS ministries in Ecuador. Susan is a nurse and works with visiting medical teams. This is the first time that none of their 3 daughters are with them; Becki is married in Colorado, Sara is in China for 1 year, and Nicole is in Kazakhstan for 1 year.
