E-kids Worship

What is e-kid’s worship?
E-kid’s is a high energy worship service designed as a place for kids to take their parents  and learn about virtues and character through music, storytelling, drama and more.

For whom, when and where is e-kids worship held?
Who:        3 years olds through 6th grade
       Where:     Family Life Center
       When:      10:45 Sundays

What will we learn about?
Each month a new virtue will be introduced.  We want each child who participates in e-kid’s worship to grow up and say:
            1.  I need to make the wise choice.
            2.  I can trust God no matter what.
            3.  I should treat others the way I want to be  treated.

What is a virtue?
A virtue is something God does in us to change the world around us.

What resources are available to reinforce the virtue at home?
      There are several ways:

1.  Refrigerator Door: The e-kids bulletin is called the Refrigerator Door. It has all the details (Bible story, Bible verse, main point) that were focused on during the service.  It can be kept on the  frig door as a reminder of the virtue.
2.  God Time:   Is a mini 4-day devotional that will be available each week for you and your children to further explore the virtue.
3.  Virtue Packs:  This resource is a family learning tool that are used during 4 significant times.  (BedTime, DriveTime, MealTime, and MorningTime). Available at www.252basics.com/store .

What is the age range for e-kids worship?
The programming is designed for ages 5 years—6th grade but parent’s are friends are welcome too!  The family relationship can only benefit from worshipping together.  It is our hope that families will choose to periodically, if not regularly, be in the same service to worship together.

What about my 3 & 4 year old?
3 & 4 year olds are welcomed as long as they are supervised by a parent.  A room for 3 & 4 year olds to play during the 10:45 services  is also available near the Family Life Center.

Can I attend  ekids with my child?
All of God’s children are welcome!  We would love for families to choose this service as a  place to worship together.

This sounds like fun!  How can I help?
There are many opportunities to help with e-kids.  The time commitment varies with the different opportunities.  Some opportunities are greeting, activity coordinator, activity facilitator, drama, set-up/tear down.  Please call the church office for more information.
